"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."                                            ~ Psalm 139:14

Empowerment

Equipping people to pursue their God-given purpose and break generational cycles of poverty.

Community Empowerment Program

Go and Tell is passionate about spreading the “Good News” of the gospel of Jesus Christ. In John 10:10, Jesus declared, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”  The "Good News” is that God loves us and has planted inside of us, a purpose and plan for our life. We believe that this same purpose planted in each of us at Go and Tell has also been planted inside each and every person in Uganda. “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.” - Isaiah 61:1

Worshipping With Talents And Skills

We have built an incredible team of people who are devoted to planting hope in the lives of the people and children of Uganda. Furthermore, we truly believe that work is an act of worship to God. Whether we are working as Teachers, Pastors, Doctors, Lawyers, or Business people, God is ready for a generation of people to pursue their God-given talents and skills for his Kingdom.

My name is Zziwa Clever. I am in Grade 4 at Kids Care. I live at Kirinda Village. I stay with my grandmother. I thank my sponsor for sponsoring me and loving me. I got three hens from my sponsor. I have been taking care of my hens very well. I had 42 hens and I sold off some of the hens and I remained with 15 hens. I have been able to support my family with these hens.

We get money from the hens and eggs, which we sell and buy some home necessities like salt and sugar and food. My next target is selling some and buy a goat. Thank you my sponsor.

Look what our children are doing now! They have learned to carve these elephant plaques and are hoping to sell them. One more step towards sustainability.

“…work is an act of worship. When people seek to fulfill their callings by glorifying God in their work, praising Him for their gifts and abilities, and seeing both their efforts and its products as an offering to Him, then work is an act of worship to God.”

-Brian Fickert, When Helping Hurts

“Poverty alleviation occurs when the power of Christ’s resurrection reconciles our key relationships through the transformation of both individual lives and local, national and international systems.”

— Brian Fikkert, When Helping Hurts

Let Hope Rise

In a nation with over 2.5 million orphans and an epidemic of poverty, there is no better place for the Go and Tell vision to take root than Uganda. We are passionate about encouraging people to hear the Good News, Go and Tell the Good News to others, and use their gifts, skills, and talents planted on the inside to shake the world.

We want people to pursue the burning desires and secret dreams in their heart, planted by God in the first place. They are there for us to discover and then give away to something greater than ourselves. He wants to awaken and empower people to make a difference in this desperate hour.

Thank you for partnering with us to help unlock purpose and break generational cycles. Together, we can shake the world. Miracles happen when we come together in unity.

"How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity. For there the lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.”

- Psalm 133:1,3
